On Tuesday, October 26, Carli Lloyd will play his last match as part of the US Women’s Soccer Team when South Korea needed in a friendly match. In honor of the event, Fox Sports will flow “Carlicam” specifically who will follow Lloyd throughout the contest. Back in August, Lloyd announced he would retire from professional football at the end of the year. For 17 years his career, he has become one of the most dominant players in sports. He scored a gold medal winning goal at the summer Olympics in 2008 and 2012. In 2015 and 2016, he was named this year’s FIFA player. Recently, he helped the USA team secure a bronze medal at the summer Olympics 2021 in Tokyo with a pair of goals in a match that ended with a score of four-three. While Tuesday will mark Lloyd’s last match with the USA team, he will play the rest of the NSWL season with Gotham FC before finally hanging his jersey.
